Barnhart,
Inc. awarded contracts from Lodi Unified School District
Barnhart will oversee
construction of two middle schools
Barnhart, Inc. was awarded construction management contracts
from Lodi Unified School District to oversee construction
of two new middle schools.
Christa
McAuliffe Middle School, which broke ground yesterday in Stockton,
is a $10 million school. The 83,000 square foot campus will
feature classrooms and administration areas in two buildings.
Completion is slated for Spring 2004. Barnhart team members
include Henry Amigable, Chris Helbock, Mike Dingler, Kristy
Weiland.
Millswood
Middle School of Lodi will also measure 83,000 square feet
in two buildings. The $10 million school is on track for a
March 2004 completion. Both middle schools were designed by
Cordoba, Gervin, and Schweitzer, with Jerry Schweitzer heading
the design team.
The Lodi
Unified School District oversees the education of 26,700 students
in 37 elementary, middle, and high schools, as well as alternative
educAtion facilities in the communities of Lodi and Stockton.
The Facilities Department staff is led by Mamie Starr.
