Palm Desert
community center for Del Webb completed by Barnhart, Inc.
Construction
of facility began in November 2001
Barnhart, Inc., completed construction of the Del Webb Community
Center in Palm Desert.
The $4
million recreation center measures 16,000 square feet in two
buildings. Amenities include indoor running track, exercise
room, multi-use rooms, locker rooms, and a swimming pool.
The center
was designed by BMG, Inc., of Tuscon, Arizona. Construction
of the facility began in November.
Team
members include: Bill Inglis, Vice President of Construction
for Del Webb Communities, Inc.; Russell Jones, Project Manager
for Del Webb; Larry Meeks, Vice President, BMG, Inc; Layne
Arthur, Vice President, Palm Springs Operations, Barnhart,
Inc.; Joanna Heinrich, Project Manager, Barnhart; and Glen
Farlow, Superintendent, Barnhart.
