Builder chosen for new school
The Chula Vista Elementary School District has chosen  Barnhart, Inc., and Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke Architects to develop its newest elementary school which is scheduled to be completed in July 2003.
This will not be the first time that Barnhart and Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke has worked with the Chula Vista Elementary School District.  The team upgraded Halecrest, Cook, and Palomar Elementary Schools in a mere 76 days during the summer of 1999, and in the summer of 2000, they modernized Muller Charter, Lauderbach, and Juarez-Lincoln elementary in 72 days, resulting in Associated General Contractors Build America and Build San Diego awards. In 1998, the team constructed Eastlake Elementary School.
