Correction
Regarding the lead item in this column on Wednesday, Feb. 27; the Chula Vista Elementary School District contract with Douglas E. Barnhart Inc. and architect Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke was not a design-build.  The contractor and architect had a design-assist construction management contract with the school district.
