New Balcony
for Terminal
Construction began in July on a new 3,800-square-foot
fixed balcony for embarking and disembarking ships at the
San Diego Cruise Ship Terminal on the B Street Pier.
The Port
of San Diego contracted the $1.83 million projects to local
contractor Douglas E. Barnhart, Inc. in late
May. Lee & Sakahara Architects, based in Irvine, designed
the balcony.
The project
is scheduled to be completed in October.
