Barnhart Inc developing the USD's new Degheri Alumni Center

Douglas E. Barnhart, Inc. and architects Wheeler Wimer Blackman are developing the University of San Diego's new Degheri Alumni Center. The 30,425-square-foot, three-story steel structure will be on the former site of Harmon Hall.

The $6.3 million building will feature USD's 16th century Spanish Renaissance architecture, and is scheduled for a November 2003 completion.

USD officials envision an alumni "living room", open-air courtyard, and outside rear patio, conference room and additional offices.

Team members include Roger Manion, Conley Robinson and Tom Coffin from USD; Gayne Wimer from Wheeler Wimer Blackman; and Mike Derouin, Tim Berry and Vicky Bonino from Barnhart.
