Poway
municipal office building topped out
Structural
Steel framing has been completed for the 50,400-square-foot
Municipal City Hall Office Building for the city of Poway
at 13325 Civic Center Drive. Designed by McGraw/Baldwin
Architects, the structure includes the two-story office
building and 5,900-square foot City Council chambers. Steel
framing for the City Council chambers is scheduled to begin
February 2004.
Other
members of the project design team include Douglas E.
Barnhart, construction manager; Simon Wong Engineering,
structural engineers; GEM Engineering, mechanical/plumbing
engineers; Turpin & Rattan Engineering, electrical
engineers; Berrymen & Hennigar, civil engineers;
IR3/4 Interior Resource, furniture,move coordination;
and Architectural Landscapes. The project is scheduled
for completion in the spring of 2004.
