Barnhart, Inc. is proud to offer group medical insurance (PacificCare) and a Flexible Spending Account to eligible employees. Currently, contributions
to the group health plan are paid by the employer, however,
Barnhart, Inc, reserves the right to require employee contributions
to health insurance premiums in the future. Any deductibles
or co-payments that may be required are the responsibility
of the covered employee.
Barnhart, Inc. also has established a defined contribution
pension plan under the Associated General Contractors (AGC)
San Diego Chapter, Inc. Retirement Trust Fund. Barnhart, Inc.
will contribute a certain amount to the plan for eligible
employees, based upon number of hours worked. Eligible employees
become entitled to the benefits based on length of service.
Eligible employees are entitled to 80 hours of paid vacation
per vacation year. Vacation benefits are earned at a rate
of 1.54 hours per full week of work. An employee becomes eligible
to use accrued vacation benefits following the first six months
of employment.
Exempt and salaried office staff are eligible to take up to
40 hours of paid sick time per full calendar year. Paid sick
time is not available during the first six months of employment.
Sick pay has no remunerative value and may not be carried
over from one year to the next or paid upon termination.

by Barnhart, Inc.:
New Year's Day Labor Day
President's Day Thanksgiving Day
Memorial Day Christmas Day
Independence Day New Year's Eve Day
Barnhart, Inc. reserves the right to alter the Holiday
schedule at any time.
Barnhart, Inc. reserves the right to amend, revise, merge,
and terminate the plan at any time, at its discretion. Unfortunately,
temporary and part-time employees are not eligible for some
of these benefits. Please review your employee handbook upon
acceptance of an employment contract for further details.
