Design-build selected for prototype school

Douglas E. Barnhart Inc. and Ruhnau Ruhnau Clarke Architects have been selected by the Chula Vista Elementary School District to develop its newest prototype educational facility.  The new school, the district's 40th, is scheduled for completion in July 2003. The contractor-architect team has already completed three previous joint projects for the school district. Barnhart has also been awarded a construction management contract from the school district to modernize Parkview, Valle Lindo and Valley Vista schools this summer.
